Rise & Shine Summer Camp – Day 1 Highlights

SolidAct Foundation officially launched the Rise & Shine Summer Camp 2025 with a powerful Day 1 focused on Healing and Counseling. This special day welcomed 92 children from Rubavu District into a safe and loving environment where they could begin processing their emotions, discovering purpose, and building lasting friendships.

Theme: Healing & Counseling
📍 Date: 25th July 2025
📌 Location: GS Sanzare – Nyundo Sector

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Grouping by Age for Deeper Engagement

To better support their needs, the children were divided into two age-based discussion groups:

  • Group 1: Ages 7–10 (Primary 1–3)
  • Group 2: Ages 11–14 (Primary 4–6)

This approach allowed facilitators to tailor discussions, activities, and reading materials to each developmental stage.

📖 Key Life Lessons Taught

Through Bible-based storytelling, visuals, and open group reflection, children explored:

  • You are created with Godly purposePsalm 139:14

  • 🤝 Forgive othersEphesians 4:32
  • ❤️ Love one anotherJohn 13:34
  • 🌿 Release your pain to JesusIsaiah 61:1–5

These messages were not just taught — they were experienced through storytelling, pictures, and real-life illustrations, helping children understand how God sees them with love and value.
