As the 2024/2025 school year began, SolidAct Foundation is actively supporting low-income families facing challenges in affording essential school supplies and participating in school feeding programs.
Our recent initiatives have included distributing comprehensive school materials such as bags, notebooks, and pens to children across four districts, covering community health insurance costs for these families, and planning additional support like school uniforms and clothing for the first trimester.
We have reached students in Rubavu, Gasabo, Kicukiro, and Musanze. We partnered with Charis Home, which supports street children, and provides all the school materials they need including notebooks, pens, bags, uniforms, shoes, and their school fees.
